Kirk Ferentz getting sued for being racist

The U of I and the local/national media are doing a good job of keeping this as quiet as can be.

He definitely is, or was. He used to live in a drug house and he definitely did coke more than once like he claims. Claybourne, and Stanzi were others that had coke parties. I know this from hearing stuff from people that went to Iowa then. What I can’t get over is that Kirk still 10 years later can’t get over it. DJK gave a lot to the program and accomplished a lot, why can’t Kirk let him be honored with what was quite possibly the best Iowa team ever. I also don’t get being an ass to his parents on senior day. DJK probably could have done a lot more to help himself, but the way Kirk and that staff handled him was disgraceful.

It doesn't take a long youtube search to find videos of Hayden Fry yelling at the local media. There have been rumors of Lute Olson leaving Iowa because he was mad at a reporter from the Register. Everyone in the state knows that reporters can only be so critical of Iowa sports.

DJK was kicked off the team and literally expelled from the school. Has there ever been a kid that was dismissed from the team and school anywhere that was brought back and honored in any way?

You never heard any stories or complaints from anyone? You never saw it or thought those things were racist? Really?

So we have the website that published the story taking it down, and Iowa players like Amani Hooker and James Daniels deleting their tweets of support for DJK from last night. Interesting.

The information within that article was blowing up. Do people really think they took it down for another reason than they were told / asked to do so?

And please save the "Ferentz would never do that" comments. Those days are over.
