Kirk Ferentz getting sued for being racist

Thank god another clone fans has the perfect solution to what is best for the Iowa football program. Hey maybe tomorrow if you have time can you fix this Covid issue?

My post more of an organizational comment on who is responsible for the problem.

If you do not want any opinions from Cyclone fans, then go back to the hole of whatever web site you use at Hawkeye Nation and don't bother us.

And there it is

Did you read the article? In the incident that Morrow is referencing, Doyle never told him he would send him back to the streets or back to the ghetto, as Morrow originally claimed. There is nothing racist about “I’ll send your ass back to Glenville.” Morrow’s assertion that Ferentz suspended him for complaining about a racist statement Doyle made is false.

So the national media has so far taken a pass on this basically.

I'm thinking nobody loses their job over this now. It's getting buried quick.

Who are those two idiots on KXNO from 2-4 pm again? I don't live in Des Moines, but decided to listen to them for the first time today online. My word.... what a couple of KF lovers there. And one of them was upset he couldn't go to church, but the protesters could be out together. Seriously dude? Not a good look, right after defending KF for an hour too.

And he said church is what we need right now with what is going on in IC. I almost lost it. Yeah, we don't need to hold the coaches responsible for their actions.... we all just need church! I give up.

It's obvious nothing is going to happen to anyone in this.

For 21 years... actually 40 years... the Iowa fball program has been idolized by media in state of Iowa..

For past 21 years... what has happened is a threat to narrative that KF can do no wrong...For 21 years. Media... not all... most media locally doesn’t want to handle it and wants to quickly move forward and put out a narrative of how great change is by KF etc..

Nevermind the decades of racism in the program

So we know where BrodieO stands on this whole matter..... on the side of Doyle and company.

Not surprising at all btw. Iowa football >>>>>>>>>>> everything else.

isu fans have a say in state positions funded without tax dollars? I didn’t know that, is this new? Also is this confined only to isu fans or could an Iowa and UNI fan demand an isu employee be fired?

Kallenberger specifically said his grades were written on a public board, which his parents didn't even know about due to privacy laws. Was he lying?

"He was more focused on what I said to Coach Doyle, more so than what Coach Doyle said to me," Morrow said. "He went in on what I said. He ran down Chris Doyle's résumé, he's done this, he's done that. 'You haven't done anything here. Who are you to disrespect one of my coaches? To be quite frank with you, he deserves an apology.'

"I was kind of at a loss for words, like, it doesn't matter what [Doyle] said."

...but KF doesn't recall this.

Actually, KF confirmed he can’t EVER recall in his ENTIRE 21 Year Tenure a conversation of racial issues with one of his players or players parents.

To be fair I have no clue who is lying or who is trying to cover their A$$ here, but I do hope the truth comes out and the chip fall where they may.

The coaches that knew about the kid with the learning disability and still frequently got mocked by them really probably don’t belong in any kind of educational setting in my opinion.

I don't think you are really looking for my permission. You live here already anyway and I can't say I blame you.

False. I have been clear that Doyle and any other coach with a pattern of racist comments needs to be fired. But Morrow’s tweet claimed that Ferentz suspended him after Doyle told him to go back to the ghetto. Turns out, that didn’t actually happen. Morrow complained to Ferentz because Doyle told him he would “send his ass back to Glenville.” How does that implicate Ferentz? Ferentz says he can’t recall any player complaining to him about Doyle’s use of sending a player back to the “streets” or back to the “ghetto” - THATS BECAUSE IT NEVER HAPPENED.

That's when he said, 'F--- you, I'll send your ass back to Glenville.' He was insinuating that he'd send me back to where he would always joke about -- the hood, the ghetto. That's what he would always say."

"'What do you got to do to go to Ginn Academy? Not have any [prior arrests]?' That's verbatim what [Doyle] said," Morrow said. "He said, 'Ginn Academy, not any priors, because you guys went to Glenville, the school with the real criminals.'"

YIKES

Our opinions count just the same as everyone else because we're all humans. Your problem is that you think this is an ISU versus Iowa issue. This is a human rights issue. The sooner you figure that out, the better.

This is the absolute best take. We are talking about victims and aggressors who were/are in positions of power over them. I honestly cannot imagine a world where someone would be defending it and trying to argue tiny BS points to move the goalpost away from the terrible behavior. Is there no empathy at all?

How are clone fans coming with solving Covid? Since you know how to fix all human rights injustices Covid should be a layup for you.

I love how hard you keep trying to be clever.

Decades of racism is being swept under the rug just so clone fans will have something to complain about. Since clone fans know everything about everything’s can you take on this global warming issue we are facing?

Yup, that language is abhorrent. Doyle should be fired, as I have been claiming this whole time. But this exonerates Ferentz as far as the accusations in Morrow’s tweets - in the incident that made Morrow complain to Ferentz, Doyle didn’t tell him he would send him back to the streets or back to the ghetto. He said he would send his ass back to Glenville. So Ferentz was not lying when he said that no player complained to him about Doyle’s phraseology of sending players back to the “streets” or back to the “ghetto.”

Nice...Iowa State trying to solve global warming and COVID...at the same time...seems like we could be doing more. Iowa, on the other hand, just trying to find both cheeks in a phone booth...because, you know, football is all you have.

Did you even read the article? He said Doyle would always joke with him about sending him back to the "hood" or the "ghetto", and that's what it meant when he would use "Glenville" too.

Didn't sound like Morrow enjoyed Doyle's "joking" around by threatening to send him back to the "hood" or the "ghetto".

Quite the reach.

Lol what? He told Ferentz what happened and he listed off Doyle's resume and told him to apologize. That's horrible

Then go solve the human right issue. Don’t tell me what needs to occur with the Iowa Football program end the true human rights issue across the planet once an for all. I and thousands of others will stand and applaud you and the clone fans who end this for mankind.

Did you graduate from the University of Iowa?

Oh Brodie, this is sad. Don't go down this way bud. Don't hang all your hopes and dreams on these coaches. Like you said earlier, this is probably a blessing in disguise. Very likely Iowa gets an upgrade in coaching staff out of this. You have to be excited about that!

"He was more focused on what I said to Coach Doyle, more so than what Coach Doyle said to me," Morrow said. "He went in on what I said. There's a saying in politics and public relations that you answer the question you want to answer, whether it was the question you were asked or not.

Ferentz was asked whether the story was true and whether Doyle was disciplined. It was an extensive question and his answer took about five seconds:

"I'm not saying it's true or not true, I don't remember Chris using that word. I've never heard Chris use that phraseology."

Notice, he did not discuss whether he had a conversation with Morrow. He sidesteps the issue by saying he doesn't remember Doyle talking that way.

Of course he wouldn't remember that. Because according to the ESPN story:
Morrow said Ferentz and the other on-field coaches weren't in the weight room during the workout.

That's a hell of a dodge there. The clipped answer on Rob Howe's question was shaky enough, but if you read closely enough it turns out he didn't answer it anyway.
