Sadly, his tenure will also be decided by the season ticket sales and contributions to the athletic department. If any of that changes, quickly, you will now have the attention of the administration, the Board of Regents and the legislature. These entities will not be public about it, but it's gonna be a big part of the conversation behind the scenes.

That's not just a Kirk issue, it's mainly a sports issue in general. It's almost all entirely results-driven until **** really, really, really hits the fan.

Doesn't matter if a person is an ISU, Iowa, or UNI fan...university coaches are state employees, and as such, are to abide by all state laws regarding discrimination due to nationality, sex, racial background, etc. Break the law...get fired for cause.

Who are those two idiots on KXNO from 2-4 pm again? I don't live in Des Moines, but decided to listen to them for the first time today online. My word.... what a couple of KF lovers there. And one of them was upset he couldn't go to church, but the protesters could be out together. Seriously dude? Not a good look, right after defending KF for an hour too.

And he said church is what we need right now with what is going on in IC. I almost lost it. Yeah, we don't need to hold the coaches responsible for their actions.... we all just need church! I give up.

It's obvious nothing is going to happen to anyone in this.
