Players tweeting now. They all have the same Iowa background and logo with it. It's not a standard tweet.
You are probably right.
However, the chance of that happening is slightly lower than @dexterhawk suggestion that an asteroid is only a few months from putting us all out of this misery.
So forgive me if I don't lose a lot of sleep worrying about finding ways to despise hawkdom more.

This goes beyond KF.
Remember the rules of Hawkdom
1) Iowa is better at everything and always right

I'm in awe. And not in a good way.
That's even more bizarre than the Iowa fans who wanted ISU to do a wave from Jack Trice during their bye week a few years ago.
"Quick! Give the kids Twitter access and a template to say whatever while looking more official to help save face!"
Could you imagine the chaos if they asked fans to kneel to support BLM? You would have half the fans kneeling, the other half standing there with their arms crossed, followed by little skirmishes breaking out afterwards with people arguing about the others' choice to kneel or not kneel. Yeah...that would be a sight to behold.
And some of them were incredulous that our athletic department didn't jump on board right away.
It would be awesome. For so, so many reasons. There's something there for everyone to enjoy.
Plus you're going to have a good amount of fans that struggle physically to kneel, especially in the stands.
This might be hard for you to believe but maybe the kids really do love Iowa football enough that they want to stick around and make it better instead of burning it all down and leaving.
Really impressed by the composure and depth of some of the tweets current players are sending out.
So am I, I wholly support them using this newfound messaging to their advantage. They'd be stupid not to, and no, not every kid wants to burn things down and leave. Change is hard and getting used to life and friends a certain way has value. I have exactly zero problems with the players' activities.
The kid's statements were very good. This wasn't a player issue though. There weren't issues regarding player to player misconduct. It all stemmed from multiple coaches within the staff. I'm glad that Iowa lifted the ban on social media so the kids were allowed to speak their mind.
