Kirk Ferentz getting sued for being racist

Sympathizing with riots and destruction of property is most definitely political. There is only one side of the political spectrum that is currently sympathetic to going beyond the peaceful protesting, and if you can't see that, then you aren't paying attention to anyone outside of your own political sphere. Don't try to equate this with the American revolution to justify the rioting.

Nobody on either side of the conversation has been deleted at all for their opinions, and nobody is saying they did the right thing - several of us are trying to explain the logic and why we understand, just as others are trying to explain the logic behind thinking it was incorrect. The only moderation that has occurred was to delete references to our president, and then to edit out quotes of those posts.

The Boston massacre began when an unarmed teenage boy was hit in the head with the end of a gun during a nonviolent exchange with an officer. American patriots had been looting and destroying stores that sold British goods and capitalized on them to benefit the crown. People gathered to protest, business owners closed up shops, and the officers brought in heavily armed law enforcement telling the protesters to disperse. The crowd started throwing dirt clods at the officers in response, and so the officers fired upon them, the first victim killed being a black man. That's how we started our revolution against King George III. So, yeah, I'd say that it's a pretty close analogy for the riots going on today.

No I am not, there is no pre-approval or monthly limit. Dochterman is wrong.
Maybe, just MAYBE, the players realize their coaching staff is getting DRAGGED nationally and they don't need to conform to a BS social media policy? Willing to bet Ferentz' little pre-approved social media "allowance" policy was put forth to the team and the players are not abiding by it because they know Kirk won't want to catch heat for enforcing it when he's got a **** storm already surrounding him.

Is this the hill you really want to die on?

I never did that Twins. If one player said one thing and then multiple player who were in the room at the same time as him come forward and say that it didn’t happen, I’m likely to believe the majority is correct.

So players experiences might be different at a football program? Shocking!

Not a hill I am dying on, just trying to relay accurate information.

If you look at the pattern it’s only really kids who never played lodging complaints against Kirk and Parker. Brian will probably be reprimanded because his complaints are not on the level of Doyle’s. Parker has had one complaint come against him and it’s from DJ Johnson who just transferred and Geno Stone and other then said Parker is not a problem.
Kirk allowed this misconduct to happen. He's still at fault even though he wasn't the one actually committing the misconduct. The head coach is responsible for everything that happens within his buildings. Him saying he didn't know this happened is him trying to save his own a**.

Akrum Wadley never played?

The one pre approved tweet is not part of the policy as of now. That is obvious by the multiple current players that have tweeted multiple times in the past couple days.

You can argue whether the old Twitter ban was stupid, I think it was, but that ban has been lifted.
You're missing the point entirely here.

How come your information is "accurate" and a legitimate reporter is wrong?

Just because players ARE tweeting doesn't mean that a policy does NOT exist.

My job has a policy against drinking on the job, if I show up and drink a beer in the office does that mean that policy no longer exists? Because I just did it, so surely it's not a policy by your logic correct?
