Kirk was accused of a few things, however when you're the head of the program, it's pretty tough to survive something like this. These accusations are coming from lots of players over a span of quite a few years. It's likely that none of these men would've come out and expressed their thoughts and experiences if not for the current climate we are in. Because of that, Kirk would've most likely allowed these types of things to go on. A simple apology and pledge to do better doesn't erase what happened. He's responsible for the entirety of the program.I have not seen a lot out there that are taking shots at KF with the exception of Wadley's mom. There has been a lot on Twitter so I may have missed a couple but it seems KF has the support of former players to be the one responsible to make the changes needed in the Iowa program.
What dont you understand?

You think I want African American athletes to go through this much pain because they went to Iowa? That's disgusting
Are there any specifics of BF? I've seen some on Doyle.

Didn't Urban Meyer leave or was asked to leave due to a similar situation? Not context wise, but the fact that he was the one in power that knew of the wrong doings of his assistant and yet did nothing?
I didnt say that.
You love that the Iowa football program is going through turmoil.

I posted this yesterday: not a chance in hell Brian didn't hear or see stuff in the weight room as a player and coach.Yup, saw that.
I saw the comment made by BF about the tattoo one of the players from Detroit got. Didnt see any other detailed tweets about BF other than that one. I did see a couple guys single him out with Doyle saying the change needs to start with them.
I thought so. Urban is a slime ball, but that situation right there shows that you are partially responsible for the actions of your assistants, and when you are aware of the negative actions / behavior and do nothing about it, the person in charge is even more responsible.Yes, he served a suspension because of Zach Smith, who has since downward spiralled even further.
