Not going to lie, it was pretty entertaining to watch an ISU QB put up 41 on us. You don't see that much lately. Huge loss when he transferred.
@CyTwins You tell him. School him on the truth. Iowa was higher in the final AP poll. That’s the only thing that matters.
He is the former head coach of ISU (Illinois State) from 1988-1995 that had a career 42% winning percentage. Easy to see why I got him confused with Jon Heacock.
Yeah, you probably wouldn't say that if you watched him melt down against Texas. Kempt was actually a big upgrade from that performance. And Purdy? He's only showing up on mock drafts as a first rounder.
The ISU staff seems to want to try to beat iowa at their own game. I still haven't figured out why.
Sweet. The last three starting QBs for Iowa have been drafted, and I think it's been four of the last five? I'll trust our coaches.
Real question is what's the over/under on Georgia offering the kid? One week?
