Are you talking about the crystal balls from December or January for Nebraska?
He would be a monster get but if there is one position that I never worry about at Iowa it is tight end. We would probably just end up flipping Tyler Moore if Fidone goes elsewhere.
Fidone is a freak, but there are definitely two things working against Iowa here. 1) Nebraska loyalty/fandom. 2) He probably saw the logjam of young guys in front of him and their offer lists. Pretty crazy and certainly can't blame a guy for wanting early PT.
It is rare that Eickholt puts in a pick without one of the national guys doing it first. If you look at a lot of the recent Iowa commits, Witifong will give a crystal ball to Iowa and then within the hour Eickholt puts his in.
If you think Eickholt knows anything then we should just move on to the next topic.
With the recent news of Alt getting a ND offer, I wonder if Iowa will turn their attention to Maro or not for the last OL ride. I could see Iowa going after Moore too if/when they don't get Fidone too.
You've been beating the Bollers to ISU drum pretty hard, but there's literally no indication of that anywhere. Quite the opposite actually.
It might have been discussed during the weekend, but I wasn't going through 1000 posts about basketball to find it, but what does everyone think about Olakokun's new list? Do you think he get's back on board with Iowa after the visit situation is worked out or goes elsewhere? I really figured he'd move PSU into the recent top 4, but still worried as there are some good programs still in the running.
