What, a player can improve on his combine numbers? Colored me shocked.
I thought according to CyTwins all that mattered was what happened at the combine. I guess he has to pick and choose when the combine counts and when it doesn’t.

Goodson got quite a few more carries than Hall during the first few games. He just wasn't ready to play that early in the season. I don't remember Goodson getting a bunch of carries early on either.
Could be signalling a major scheme change for them in the future if that 40 time is correct. Interesting to say the least.
Seems like you wanted to bash Wadley and say he wasn't close to Warren's level, seems to me you might be making the exact same mistake with Hall and Goodson (minus the fact Hall won't completely and totally flame out like Warren).

I don't think I ever knew who Hall was during recruiting, let alone being butthurt about it. Love a link on that for sure.
I do remember you trying to say with just days left before signing day Jim stopped by the Goodson household to wish him well at Iowa while he was in hitting the circuit down in Georgia. That one was gold.
"Tyler, I'm a really busy guy right now, but just wanted to meet with you tonight to discuss how well you'll do at Iowa from a Michigan perspective. Feel free to turn down your offers to Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan State, Nebraska, and West Virginia to come walk on here."
LOL. Classic.
Oh for sure. Iowa State also had two backs above Hall that were a junior and a senior that were battling for the spot as well. Both Hall and Goodson needed time to adjust a bit before they ended up becoming true weapons for their teams.Sure, but he wasn't a feature back until later in the season. Just like Hall.
Yes it's well documented Michigan didn't offer Goodson. They did absolutely kill it in Georgia recruiting that year though and almost flipped Goodson's teammate who they wanted

I bet Greg Eisworth remembers a few of Goodson’s carries (although now that I think about it, maybe he doesn’t).
@CyTwins, I don't think Hall is going the way of Warren, but you have a long history of looking like a complete and utter fool:
Oh man. Between this, saying that Chase Allen was better than T.J. Hockenson, and claiming that Michael Ojemudia sucked, he’s had some brutally bad evals.

Nobody outside of Iowa knows who Goodson is. Maybe Nebraska? Hall is a household name. High School All American followed by All American as a true freshman

You don’t think people in Georgia know who the Georgia high school player of the year is?
You said Stanley was better than Purdy, Jok was a better NBA prospect than anyone from Iowa State and that Goodson was better than Hall. Lol good work
That carry was 14 of Goodson's 16 yards that game.
Yup, he’s a home run hitter at RB, and still has the strength and power to finish runs by trucking an all-conference safety. Kid is a special talent.
But he's slower, smaller and weaker than your rivals RB who's the same age. That honestly has to suck
