Iowa Football Recruiting

Ok, you're doing it wrong. The best part about the imaginary games and woulda/shoulda/coulda scenarios that your fellow posters love to play is that you get to make up whatever outcome you want. Hell, ISU is the undisputed national champion in imaginary games. Be better.
I'm just trying to stay realistic here lol which I know is hard to do in these imaginary scenarios.

I'm stating that if you are going to base the effectiveness of the recruiting of a school such that it's a knock to have a low commit to top 5 ratio, Bama would be pretty freaking low on your list. As well as Georgia, Penn State, Ohio State, USC and so forth.

I don't count the fish that nibbled, I count the one's I caught
.

Hold on, you are trying to compare 25 offers to get 2 commits in basketball to trying to get 20-25 commits in football? Is this serious?

If Prohm goes 3 for 100 I'll be happy. Who cares about the misses when he's already landed Harris and JCL

This all started with a brag of being in the top5 for someone. My point is basically Prohm has shown this off season that means ISU has about a 5-10% shot at landing that person with ISU in the top 5.

Wonder why Stanford hasn't pulled the trigger on him?
This one has surprised me as well.

One thing I will say, completely of my own opinion, not sure if even that offer would say him at this point if it comes in. Maybe it would have earlier in the game, but with everything involving COVID, could easily see him just saying screw it and stay with ISU.

He got an All Conference guy last Spring and a good sit out so I'd say he did good

Exactly you were happy with his results last spring as well, and felt ISU was way better than Iowa and easily a NCAA Tournament team. Seems you don't really get it right that often with your assessments of ISU, lots too much Cardinal and Gold for you to see it clearly even though it is right in front of your face.

Is this serious? You are going after 20-25 commits in football and you are going after 3 transfers. You think ISU should have to offer 150-200 kids to get a full basketball class of 3?
Kentucky and Duke are in 75 kids top 5 every year. They only get about 4 every year.

They are the best recruiters in the country, but by your standard, they stink.
