Thoughts on Smith or Gach? Just want to see how you discredit them in case we end up getting one of them
Don’t know anything about Gach. Smith would be a solid add. Can’t shoot worth a lick but is a good, versatile defender IIRC.

So the drive before Slovis went down, he went 2-2 for 65 yards, followed by their running back punching it in for a TD. USC got an onside kick, and Slovis threw his next pass for 10 yards and a first down. Literally the next play, Epenesa sacked him and Slovis got injured. So no, Iowa's D did not have Slovis figured out rather it was the complete opposite. Slovis and USC's offense was finding something in Iowa's defense and all of that got negated by a great play by Epenesa.

Just from what I seen in high school. He's not a passer and never seen a shot he didn't like. He is pretty athletic and runs the floor well at times but also had a tendency to not really hustle a lot.Why don't you like Gach?
Hearing we are sitting nicely with Gach. Top 5 probably. Not a done deal by any means though.Thoughts on Smith or Gach? Just want to see how you discredit them in case we end up getting one of them

You could send the house at the backup because he didn't happen to be one of the best QB's in the nation lol. I'm not saying Iowa wouldn't have still won but you're acting like Slovis started playing poorly before he got injured. It was literally the opposite. Twins even put out the stats of how well he was doing. The play by AJE was just a sign of things to come. Even if he'd stayed in he'd have been running for his life with the way our pressure was turning up on him, same thing we did to the backup.

Me thinks it’ll be Minnesota or ISU for Gach. How many top 5's has ISU been in with transfers this spring so far? Now how many have the landed?

Gach is not a shooter.Smith better than JCL? Gach is very good FWIW

If you're going to play that game, I wonder what you think about Bama with footballHow many top 5's has ISU been in with transfers this spring so far? Now how many have the landed?
Slovis was playing well and USC managed 17 points in the 1st half. I'll be generous as say that Slovis plays that great again in the second half, and USC still loses to Iowa by more than 2 TD's.

Slovis was 3-3 for 76 yards in the 2nd half before getting injured. He was in for one drive in the second half in which a TD was scored. He got knocked out of the game two offensive plays later lol. Him and USC's offense literally scored within the first minute and 31 seconds of getting the ball to start the half.Slovis was playing well and USC managed 17 points in the 1st half. @CyTwins how is this funny? Slovis played the entire half and USC managed 17 points. Slovis led USC to a TD on his first possession of the game, and still only managed 17 points.
I know it was a rough morning for you. Your holy bible Sagarin says that Iowa goes 10-3 with ISU's schedule and ISU goes 7-6 with Iowa's schedule (including a loss to USC). Then it comes out you were quoting team rankings 5 years ago. That's tough man, I kind of feel for you right now.
