Iowa Football Recruiting

ISU would be lucky to get to 4th in the Big10 West. They are clearly behind Iowa and Wisconsin, and now Minnesota is clearly better than then. I'd bet ISU would struggle to get ahead of Northwestern, Purdue and Nebraska. I mean ISU couldn't get past Nebraska for 100 years, I doubt they could do it now. Northwestern just had 1 down year, and Purdue is just like ISU except with a way better offense.

ISU could be a cellar dweller in the Big10 West.
A few of you try entirely too hard.

Another player leave early and get drafter in the top 10 picks? When did Prhom have that happen? Sure Horton Tucker left to get picked #46 and Wigginton left well because he didn't want to be at ISU and went undrafted.

Maybe I should have worded that better so you could understand?

I should have made it two sentences instead of one. I should have said.... "And now he's going to have another great player leave early again. And he will likely get drafted in the top 10 picks". Now do you understand what I was saying??

And to the person that said KF has this same problem, I do agree to an extent, and that is why Iowa football is better than ISU football too. I fully admit that. And it's why Prohm's been better than Fran too, and ISU has a better basketball program than Iowa.

The thing with football though is having 3 players out of 22 starters leave early is a bit easier to deal with than losing 3 out of 5 starters in basketball leaving early.

Where's Garza going to go? Europe? G League?

I guess it depends on how soon his dad needs the money to pay off the mob?
There it is! Clone fans bringing a player’s family into the discussion when all else fails. If I were Prohm, I would definitely look at moving out of Ames sooner than later. It’s going to get ugly for him and his family during this upcoming season.

Steve Prohm didnt steal money from people and have an FBI agent tracking him.
Frank deserves every piece of scrutiny he gets.

Where have you been? It was really rough THIS year for Prohm on social media and on this site. It's rough every year for Fran.... a LOT of Iowa fans hate Fran and have wanted him gone for a long time. That's the life of being a million dollar college basketball coach.

And people all over the country, and on here, have been talking about Garza's dad for quite a while. Not sure where you've been. It's basically a national story. Garza's dad is a criminal... it's just a fact. It doesn't mean Luka is, but his dad has had a shaky past.

Yep. I don’t believe in second chances either. I’m actually shocked you’re still a fan of clone basketball, after all the second chances granted during the Hoiberg years.

I'm fine with second chances but I can guarantee you that Frank is spending a lot of money watching Luka play, while his victims have a ****** retirement.

So returning everyone healthy, adding more to the mix, and you could have the same seed?
Interesting.

I don’t expect Iowa will be that much better next year. Expecting a solid top 15-20 team. The preseason Top 5 stuff is fun, but I don’t think it’s realistic.

You must not like Isheem Young either. Or was he too young (in your eyes) to understand the crime he was committing?
