Iowa Football Recruiting

Smith is really good. Better than Harris. Gach will get a waiver

I get why you want to talk basketball in this thread as Iowa is killing it recruiting wise.

Lets get back to Iowa football recruiting. What are the odds of ISU getting Hanson with Iowa out of the picture? Seems like PJ is gonna get Booker with Iowa out of the picture, which kind of sucks as he is gonna be a stud.

Hey guys I can't keep track, which idiot Hawk poster was the bear in another life? I sometimes feel bad for guys like Gonzo who seem to be decent people that just like to talk a little trash here. It has to be embarrassing knowing you have some of these buffoons running around as Hawk Fans. The Bear must truly believe the star rating of kids like the DeJean kid (0 FCS offers) are legit.
He's what the ignore button was made for.

It's been a rough couple weeks for you. Lost that stud DB recruit, two guys transfer out and then to put salt in the wound Prohm starts killing it

7-6 in football when isu was to be in the Big 12 title game. Then when basketball hits Iowa trucked the clone at Hilton and isu goes onto a wonderful 12-20 season.

Good thing CyTwins can spin an alternative reality that takes his mind off all that. It really helps his merry band of followers.

Let's assume for a minute, while trying not to laugh too hard..... that after the 2018-19 season.... that JorBo, Garza, and Weiskamp had all left Iowa early to go to the NBA.

I wonder what kind of season Iowa would have had this year without them? Granted, they didn't have JorBo this season (at least not after he played in his "super bowl" game), but what if they also didn't have Garza and Weiskamp too?

That's what happened to Prohm this past season. And now he's going to have another great player leave early again and get drafted in the top 10 picks.

Fran just never seems to have this issue for some reason? He's always got a roster full of experienced juniors and seniors..... many of whom have played together since like 7th grade in Iowa.

isu would finish no better than 4th in the Big Ten West.

ISU would be lucky to get to 4th in the Big10 West. They are clearly behind Iowa and Wisconsin, and now Minnesota is clearly better than then. I'd bet ISU would struggle to get ahead of Northwestern, Purdue and Nebraska. I mean ISU couldn't get past Nebraska for 100 years, I doubt they could do it now. Northwestern just had 1 down year, and Purdue is just like ISU except with a way better offense.

ISU could be a cellar dweller in the Big10 West.

According to you if Harris gets eligible then Prohm will be on the NCAA bubble, and this is rough for Iowa fans? You got that backwards, Prohms transfer recruiting is rough on ISU fans.

I will admit earlier I was frustrated with his transfer recruiting, but Harris and JCL will be very good.
