Won a Big 12 tourney title with his own roster, has several former players making good money playing the sport. Not mentioning his Top 25 recruiting class for 2020.

ISU could afford it, but I wont pretend that many schools (ISU included) will lengthen the chains on coaches due to the pandemic.

They probably could afford it if things totally fell apart, but even if there are spots this year, you are looking at major drops in season ticket sales across the country no matter what. And if there’s a reduced fb or mbb season with less tv money, schools are going to be lucky to pay their coaches much less spring for a buyout. I would guess that this season has less coaching turnover than any in the last 20-30. It is what it is.

13-18 followed by 23-12.

I understand Prohm lost a lottery pick right at the start of Big 12 play last year, but I’d guess this coming years team is a lot closer to 23-12 than 12-20.
