This team will at least be competitive with that is being added.
They aren’t done adding pieces yet either.
He's OK. Good recruiter who's had some bad luck but too stubborn to say he's good. Better than Fran and Devries and equal to Jake if we're going to compare in state guys
You missed on about 25 of your other 1st choices. If you thing all is well more power to ya.
Fred has made for some interesting expectations in the transfer and coach the school you played for world.
Mullins failed, Ewing is probably going to fail, Penny is pulling in blue blood talent, Juwan Howard still has some time.
I was wondering if Cincy would hire Nick Van Exel a year ago, but they didnt.
So do you agree with Twins, that if CSP misses the NCAA yet again next year he should be fired?
Are you saying you prefer Harris and JCL over the other 25 Prohm targeted before them?
Prohm is better than Fred is now. Fred was better when he was at Iowa State though
There's no question that Prohm has done more in his short time at ISU than Fran has done in his entire time at Iowa.... that's not even debatable.
With that being said, ISU is coming off a really bad year, and Iowa had a pretty good year (for their standards anyway).
Prohm cannot have another year this year like last year. I'm not saying he has to make the NCAA tourney, but he must take a big step forward from last year. However, with the state of most athletic departments really struggling financially right now.... I'm not sure if JP will be able to afford a coaching change anytime soon?

Wanted Gomez, Aiken, Kier and Dejulius but JCL and Harris are all in that same tier. Aiken is better than JCL but JCL is better than Gomez
It's hard to remember who all we went after right now, but as soon as last season ended if you told me we could land Harris and JCL, I would have been thrilled with that.
Both Harris and JCL are WAY better than some of the names we'd been hearing the last several weeks IMO. Nobody that was mentioned in the last few weeks had me excited at all.
Apples and oranges. Fran had a complete and total rebuild that he walked into. He took over a program who hadn't gone to the NCAA tournament in the previous 4 years and took over for a coach who burned the program to the ground. It took him a bit, but he has put NCAA tournament quality teams on the floor 5 of the last 7 years.
Prohm took over for a program than had been to NCAA the last 4 years and a roster that was ranked pre season #7. He took that program and has turned it into a program that just hopes to not miss the last 3 of 4 NCAA tournaments.
There is no question Fran has done a better job with what he inherited than what Prohm has done.
Fred had way better success with transfers than Prohm did this year. I wouldn't be shocked if Nebraska was much better than ISU as early as this year.
I don't think there's any chance JP fires Prohm after this season if the team shows improvement, even if they don't make the NCAA IMO.
One bad year after winning the Big 12 tourney and going to the NCAA Tourney isn't going to get you fired as long as you show some improvement and signs for optimism after this season.
