Iowa Football Recruiting

LMFAO. Since i had the time i knew you were lying I thought I'd expose you for for this awful troll and make you look like an idiot (that's not hard to do honestly). Since the 2014 season (2013 season was when Big 10 was playing the legends and leaders) here is how Iowa has finished in conference with some facts:
YEAR FINISH RANK AT END OF REGULAR SEASON CONF REC
2019 3rd 19th 6-3
2018 3rd UNRANKED 5-4
2017 3rd UNRANKED 4-5
2016 2nd UNRANKED 6-3
2015 1st 9th 8-0
2014 4th UNRANKED 4-4

So lets break this down. You stating/leading that Iowa needs to be #15 or higher to finish third in the division (because you are implying it is SOOOO strong) is lie and factually wrong. In fact, you consistently end the regular season, unranked, and finish third to second place. Secondly, during this time Iowa has average 5.5 wins in conference play and that includes a statistical outlier of your magical/luck season of 8-0. You take that out and Iowa averages 5-4 in conference play in one of the easiest divisions in college football. So you finish a touch over .500 in conference play AND unranked and still get 3rd place. Wow. Talk about a cake walk
Hey @Legend Hawk care to admit what you said was stupid as hell? I know you saw it as you rated it funny. You might as well man up and admit what you said was dumb ass hell

I mean, technically any warm body would be a good pickup for Prohm at this point. I was worried he’d have to start giving scholarships to the managers if he didn’t sign somebody soon.

So why are you knocking him for landing a good grad transfer?

JCL, Bolton and Harris are all low efficiency chuckers, and all three have more career turnovers than assists. All talented players in a vacuum, but all redundant on the same roster. That backcourt is going to be a disaster IMO, but maybe Prohm can bring out the best in them.

Bolton and JCL are better than your backcourt. Connor and Toussaint suck, Bohannon is coming off an injury and couldn't guard me and Fredrick is unreliable

Iowa is much deeper and better in the backcourt than ISU in almost every facet of the game and their W/L records reflect that.

Iowa was going to be an 7-8 seed with a first team All American big. Doesn't really speak highly of their backcourt IMO

As with Tyler Moore, you just have to hope Iowa doesn’t offer. I know Iowa is still hard after Joe Alt, but he just picked up a Notre Dame offer, so we’ll see how his recruitment plays out. I’m not sure if Iowa would offer Maro if they missed out on Alt or not.

Who cares.

You should just be happy he didn't end up at Michigan or Indiana. A lot of Big Ten programs wanted him

Isn't Michigan out of scholarships unless Livers stays in the draft?

I never saw anything linking him to an Indiana offer. What do you mean by a lot of Big Ten teams wanted him?

A 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Indianapolis, Coleman-Lands entered the Transfer Portal earlier in the month and immediately became a top target for a number of Big 10 programs. A former top-40 prospect that began his college career at Illinois, Coleman-Lands has never averaged less than eight points per game throughout his 110-game career.

That didn't answer any of the questions that I just asked.

He is a 6th year guy that is inefficient on offense and so so on defense. He will be 24 when the season starts and has been around long enough that he played against Uthoff and Woodbury. He was teammates with Malcolm Hill and Tracy Abrams.

This isn't even close to a home run. I would call it a sliding double. Him and Harris, if he's eligible, might be enough to get ISU to the NIT.

That's a good thing you know that right? We need to get older and we needed to add a proven piece and we did that. I wanted Gomez that ended up at San Diego State and JCL is much better than him IMO

Most 24 year olds that are good at basketball are getting paid to play basketball, not playing for their third college program.

Yes adding a veteran player with 80 career starts and 235 career threes over many other p5 programs isn't a good thing. Lol

you do understand with the budgets with reduced season ticket sales, no one is firing their coach next year no matter what?
I don't think the majority of the clone fan base believes that. I will say that if the clones do bomb next year (i.e. lose anything close to 20 games again) and Prohm is retained....if I were the Prohm's, I would consider moving to Iowa City.
