I would say this is pretty complimentary of his abilities

A 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Indianapolis, Coleman-Lands entered the Transfer Portal earlier in the month and immediately became a top target for a number of Big 10 programs. A former top-40 prospect that began his college career at Illinois, Coleman-Lands has never averaged less than eight points per game throughout his 110-game career.

If Harris is eligible yeah. So many new pieces it's hard to tell though. Downplaying the significance of JCL is dumb though even for you. He's a very good pickup send is way better than any transfer Fran has landed

Jeff, who you responded to, and agreed wholeheartedly with, is a mentally ill deadbeat dad that gave up his children to troll Iowa State fansites.

I guess I would think him being who you identify with would be concerning. Guess you don’t think so.
 
Any news on where ISU stands with Tyler Maro?

I know his offers are blowing up, but is he a kid that probably wants to stay local? And is Iowa for sure out of the mix?

Seems like he'd help a position group in need, and I'd love to see ISU get an in-state kid with that kind of recruiting profile.

We're in good shape with him. He really likes our coaching staff

Since the 2014 season (2013 season was when Big 10 was playing the legends and leaders) here is how Iowa has finished in conference with some facts:
YEAR FINISH RANK AT END OF REGULAR SEASON CONF REC
2019 3rd 19th 6-3
2018 3rd UNRANKED 5-4
2017 3rd UNRANKED 4-5
2016 2nd UNRANKED 6-3
2015 1st 9th 8-0
2014 4th UNRANKED 4-4

So lets break this down. You stating/leading that Iowa needs to be #15 or higher to finish third in the division (because you are implying it is SOOOO strong) is lie and factually wrong. In fact, you consistently end the regular season, unranked, and finish third to second place. Secondly, during this time Iowa has average 5.5 wins in conference play and that includes a statistical outlier of your magical/luck season of 8-0. You take that out and Iowa averages 5-4 in conference play in one of the easiest divisions in college football. So you finish a touch over .500 in conference play AND unranked and still get 3rd place. Wow. Talk about a cake walk

As with Tyler Moore, you just have to hope Iowa doesn’t offer. I know Iowa is still hard after Joe Alt, but he just picked up a Notre Dame offer, so we’ll see how his recruitment plays out. I’m not sure if Iowa would offer Maro if they missed out on Alt or not.
