Memphis would have been the 4th best team in either division in the Big Ten, but would have been the 4th best team overall in the Big XII. Much clearer path to contending for a conference title in the Big XII than in the Big Ten.

I love how that is spoken as fact when it’s just your opinion, man.

You realize the Big 12 and SEC were way better than the Big Ten last year right? Like an Iowa fan linked that on here

Isn’t your favorite ranking the AP Poll? According to that, Memphis would have been the 4th best team in the Big Ten West but would have been the 3rd best team in the entire Big XII. Yikes!

You realize isu would have been 4th at best in the Big Ten West. At least according to the AP and you go to Sagarin.

Just goes to show you how many gimme wins you guys get every year playing in a weak conference

Hey benj you never did tell us where that prestigious grad school was.

Where did you get that epic masters from?

No there wasn't. Hence the top 5 schedule in all of the country
You mean the top 5 schedule Iowa would have won 10 games with? We can trade with isu and guess what, Sagarin says isu still only wins 7 games .

Does a top 5 SOS do you any good if you don’t win any more games with a top 30 SOS?

Easier in the B12? Northwestern ran away with the division and played for a B1G championship a year and a half ago.

Nah, all you gotta do is be in the Big Ten West and find a year (or 3 or 4) where you avoid the big boys in the other division.

You think Big Ten teams rack up gimme wins by playing against more elite teams? That doesn’t make any sense.

Iowa State played a much more difficult schedule than Iowa last year and the Big 12/SEC are the clear two best leagues in CFB. That's not an opinion
