Iowa Football Recruiting

Lol who's worked up? We have national recruiting analysts to do the chest pounding for us!

This kind of pounding? Most you hawk trolls are so used to doing this on here anyway. Keep polishing your balls (bells) trolls.

1. It literally says in his 247 page “OLB” OLB stands for outside linebacker
2. Lets get back on track here. We’ve established that you hoks think kittle was a WR in Hs, that’s cute, sure. We’ll go with that. Now going back to the link where one person said iowa had a decent April and Brecht might be the next TE at Iowa..please show me where anyone has every suggested he would be a TE aside from that guy who suggested it
To be fair most hoks on here said lazard would be a te at iowa. They just dont know how to utilize big wrs

I get what OLB stands for. Maybe just maybe it was a typo. I mean If Kittle really was an LB there has to be highlights of it don’t there? All of the highlights that have been posted show him as a WR or Safety.

The whole point of talking about Kittle is he had the exact same size as a WR as Brecht does. Brecht could be a TE or stay at WR. Could he get to Kittle’s level don’t know but if he does he would probably make more in the NFL as a TE than he would as a WR.

Coach Campbell wouldn't have a clock specifically for Iowa lol. That's ridiculous. Did he use the Iowa game as motivation for workouts in the summer? Absolutely. Is that still a little over the top? Probably.

You're making a bigger deal about it more than it really is. It's a motivational tactic to get guys ready for the season. Obviously it hasn't worked so maybe toss the clock out and just show the punt return from last year on repeat haha.

I’ve never been in the Iowa State locker room, but we know for a fact that (1) Campbell had a clock counting down to the Iowa game in the off-season, and (2) it may or may not have been a separate clock dedicated entirely to Iowa, considering an Iowa State insider said that is in fact what happened.

I don’t disagree that it is just a motivational tactic, but don’t try to tell me that Campbell cares about every conference game more than he does the Iowa game (not directed at you in particular). I haven’t seen any evidence of a “Beat Texas Tech” or “Beat West Virginia” clock running in the off-season.

Yes Hawk fans realize it was the prefect decision for Lazzard to stay at WR vs moving to TE. His draft position is a perfect reflection of how the NFL evaluated him.

He’s the #2 receiver on GBs roster so I’d say WR has worked out just fine for him

I'm not knocking Lazard at all but Packer fans are not happy that he's the number 2 on their roster. Most of them are mad as hell that they didn't address the position in the draft or thru free agency. I've heard Rodgers say that he likes Lazard but I promise you he's pissed they didn't use a high draft pick to grab a WR to play across from Adams.

Good Lord this is bad. Hell, Texas Tech had signs everywhere during the Rhoads years.

Not a bad move - if you don’t want to admit something happened, just pretend that it didn’t, despite all evidence to the contrary. I’ll have to try that one some time.
You're kind of the king of not wanting to admit your posting history.

I've been in the football facilities many times. There's no clock for TOE

I imagine you have pretty accurate insight on this lol

I’m not sure how you think this is relevant to the discussion. Why would I care what Texas Tech does in their locker room, and what does it have to do with the Beat Iowa clock?
