Iowa Football Recruiting

I was exaggerating, but it should be noted that the Big 12 is the worst P5 conference at sending people to the league.
We also have the least amount of teams, so again, not a good statement by you. Give the numbers in percentages. How many of the seniors from each conference were drafted, whats that percentage. Then you had to do something special for early entry people. I would assume if they early enroll, they are getting drafted so it may not even be worth messing with.

I'm very confused with what that has anything to do with what I asked for.....

It shows me that lack of coaching fundamentals in this day and age as it relates to concussions if a helmet looks like this, especially on the crown of it. Scott "Doucher"man just shows that he lack of journalism and knowledge of/in sports just like most Hawkeye media folks.

Iowa fans clamor about Martins accolades from HS and most Clone fans condemn it because it does not matter at this point in his carrier because he hand not done much at Michigan. Kinda like you are doing with Ezra.
Understandable how you could think thats similar, but i disagree. TYPICALLY don't play early. You are talking maybe redshirt sophomores or later before they start coming into their bodies. Skill position players start as true freshmen ALL the time. You are trying to compare apples to oranges

I agree. But @iahawks posting that twitter link made zero sense. I asked him for a link regarding his statement below

Everyone backed off the second he committed to Iowa since they know he can't be flipped and is solid with Iowa. Every now and then a school comes sniffing around but Cooper shoots them down quick. Thus no other offers.

Which still....I'm waiting for a link

I don’t agree with your first sentence and your second sentence is speculation based on nothing.
Football is mostly mindset, which is why I think it is some kind of injury. If it deters the effectiveness of play, then that makes it an injury. Mental health is a huge factor in success of high level athletes.

I do not think so, because Iowa has had plenty of true freshman linemen play and play effectively. and RS F, Soph, etc.

True freshmen on the offensive line?

Jones, Bulaga, Daniels and Wirfs are the few I can think of in over 20 years with Ferentz as Iowa's coach.

Ferentz has made the comment more than once that the further away a player lines up from the ball the easier it is to see the field as a freshman.

I didn't say it wasn't possible. I said they TYPICALLY don't. Thats why I put it in all caps. Meaning (my own statistical estimate) that for sure great than 50% of all starting P5 linemen are redshirt sophomores and above. I would even say that probably its 70% or greater that they are at least redshirt sophomores. Do you agree?

I completely disagree with this. There are guys every year struggling with mental issues that produce at a high level.

How would you even remotely call that butthurt? Heflin is good and a will be a good depth player. But he isn't the same level recruit as Miller was. Thats a fact. Sorry those hurt your feelings.

You seem to struggle with the concept of fact vs opinion but Heflin is a proven all conference football player, Miller was a big kid from a small town who just didn’t have the desire to play in a P5 conference.

Lol or you could just divide draft picks by number of teams.
