With DJ Johnson moving on, how does Iowa look at corner?
Im nervous about ISU’s OL.
Riley Moss is the guy there
CMC said this will be the most talented OL he will have had in Ames so far FWIW

I'd say Moss is in good position to be the guy opposite, but I wouldn't count out Julius Brents or Terry Roberts yet.Moss could end up being a good player.
ISU’s OL for sure will have the ability. It’ll be interesting to see if they are ready.
What makes it think that?Moss could end up being a good player.
Athletic kid. What makes it think that?
Athletic kid.
Played a lot early but has been injured a fair amount.
It's crazy he has 4 picks in 6 starts. For reference, ISU's best returning CB has 0 picks in 17 starts. Kid is a straight up ball-hawk. Going to be fun to watch who gets that second CB spot in Iowa City, although I think Brents gets it, my hometown boy Riley will be a solid backup.Very lightly recruited. Struggled when he has played

If I recall, several fans used him as a whipping boy a few years back. Had some picks but must have been beat several times. It's crazy he has 4 picks in 6 starts. I mostly agree.Hankins and Brents should be the starters.
Moss and Terry Roberts are next in line there so we have 3 guys that have started at least 5 games at corner in their career.
It seems like every year a freshman is out there with our secondary playing some type of role. There is a little talk on Hawkeye Report that Jermari Harris has looked good, he will be a RS freshman this season.
As far as ISU's OL, there is not a worse time to miss spring ball then when you are trying to break in a mostly new offensive line.
All corners get beat, and all young guys that get beat have mouthbreather fans rag on them online. A lot of my posts like that are tongue in cheek and over the top on purpose (look who I'm talking to), but in actuality Riley was a damn solid player as a true sophomore. Also have heard he's one of the faster guys on the team and has pretty good agility, so the framework is there. He might not become a first team all conference player for us, but at worst he is a solid backup that I don't lose sleep over if the guy in front goes down. At best, he turns into a multi-year starter for us. When healthy, I think Brents would get the nod, but hard to say where he is at right now in his progression after last year.If I recall, several fans used him as a whipping boy a few years back. You going to tell me which one is your account or nah?Don't search his name on Twitter

That's weird, I figured it would be the same as your HR handle. Not a twitter guy but I'll keep an eye out.@ISUMattCampbell
Again, it’s my opinion that Moss will be a solid player. All corners get beat, and all young guys that get beat have mouthbreather fans rag on them online. We really don't either at this point. Brents had some flashes as a true freshman, but also struggled at times as did Moss. No idea on T. Roberts.Again, it’s my opinion that Moss will be a solid player.
I’d be lying if I said I have watched him play much at Iowa though.
Other than recruiting profiles, I don’t know much about Brents or Roberts.
Bump for @Brodie0Honest question. What do/did you think of Steele Jantz? He seems to check all your boxes so I'm curious.
NFL caliber arm

Dominated his rival
lowa always seems to make it work at DB with their scheme and coaching. We really don't either at this point. Brents had some flashes as a true freshman, but also struggled at times as did Moss. No idea on T. Roberts.
