All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Lots of encouraging news from Iowa City over the last few days. Sounds like some extremely talented freshmen and sophomores are taking command at their respective positions- Kallenberger and Linderbaum on the OL, DJ Johnson at the “cash” position Hooker played, and Nixon at DT.

Sounds like Iowa is also planning on switching between a 4-3, 4-2-5, and now even 3-4 on defense this year. In Phil we trust.

Lol oh my @Brodie0

Holy crap I looked it up while you quote that. The website I looked at had the same stats.

Guessing it's a typo because that's almost not possible, high school or not. Easy to see now how he broke Goff's records with a slip of the finger. I always hit (5) instead of (2) in excel myself.

I haven't heard any Hawks say California High Schools play optional defense, so I've got him on my Heisman list.

I don’t know how you could watch this video and not get excited about Petras. Kid had an NFL arm in high school and has put on 20+ pounds since then.

I wish ISU had recruited some of the guys on his OL. He doesn’t have a guy within 3 yards of him for 8 seconds on some of those.

Do they start every play at midfield in California?

Is anything I said in said quote false?
Not that I'm aware of.

Nobody, that is logical, is saying he is better than Jared Goff. Petras and Goff attended the same high school and their coach said Petras had a stronger arm in high school than Goff did.
Did the coach say which one lasted longer!

It means he already had an NFL-caliber arm when he was a string bean in high school. It’s probably gotten even stronger as he has gained strength and explosiveness under Doyle.

Honest question. What do/did you think of Steele Jantz? He seems to check all your boxes so I'm curious.

NFL caliber arm

Dominated his rival
