I just don’t think the college HOF makes an exception to it’s winning percentage standard for a coach with 0 outright conference titles and as many NY6 bowl wins as Clay Helton. There is still plenty of opportunity for Ferentz to add to all 3 of those numbers though so I wouldn’t make a bet now.

No he received a preferred walk-on offer. I don't know what a fake offer is. Usually teams do invite preferred walk-ons to visit campus. I know Iowa does this.
