Iowa Football Recruiting

Call it whatever you want. I don’t care. Your “thing” is so predictable that it has reached eye roll levels at this point. A few others on here as well that are just ridiculous. You know damn well that if these current classes were reversed you would be having a P5 offer circlejerk with Iowa fans. I have seen it from you in recent years along with everyone else including other cyclone fans. Your whole Gameplan is to claim this ridiculous little brother type narrative of “Super Bowl” ******** when Iowa wins. When ISU wins finally, and they will because it happens in college football, you will shed the “super bowl” crutch for the time being and claim ISU superiority which is fine. You win? Claim it then. Eventually in your mind it will always go back to the Iowa “Super Bowl” thing when it works for your trolling and ISU is always better because “insert CyTwins latest narrative here”. You are a joke and anyone with any bit of intelligence sees you for what you are. I can promise you I have much more understanding of the BS you throw out there and claim to know than you ever will. Go ahead and fool your minions all you want. Between you and I? You have a few legitimate insights on some things, but about 75% of your “sources” are a fairytale. And you know it. And I know it regardless of the you spew most of the time.

Triggered!

Hanson isn't a fallback kid for Iowa. At least, according to the guys at Hawkeye Insider.

Hanson hasn't been a take since Llewellyn committed. As I said weeks and weeks ago, after they got Llwewllyn that the two left on Iowa's board were Pittman and Benny. We got Pittman, (I wish we had gotten Benny instead), but getting Pittman on board and being finished at DT now as well is good too. Then Twins got all butthurt that I said we were done recruiting Hanson, but looks like I was right and Twins was lying (as always) about "sources".

I also told you guys that Iowa was only recruiting Bruce, Brecht, Johnson and Bell at WR. Twins got all butthurt again and said we wanted Noel badly even though we hadn't even been in contact with him for weeks. Then we land Bruce, then Brecht, then Johnson and are waiting on Bell's decision, and yet again Twins was lying about "sources".

You gotta extend offers to guys who are good enough to play for you. I was never thrilled with Pittman like I am with Brown, and obviously the ISU coaches feel the same way.

Purdy had an offer to play at BAMA. That’s because Saban thought he was good enough to compete for a job at BAMA. However, you best believe Saban didn’t bat an eye when he heard he missed out on a 3 star QB when Tua is slinging the rock to win a Natty.

I am glad isu continues to pass on kids Iowa will use to beat them with. Will the fact that isu passed ina kid make you feel better when Iowa keeps beating you?

Maybe less drinking would do you well

But 247 doesn't currently rank them by average now do they, just total number of points. Rank them by average, Iowa quickly drops down from 10th.

I said its a good way to rank the class at the end of the recruiting cycle, but not now.
That’s why I used average composite score, not the total number of points. Why is this so hard?

This class that Campbell assembled is bad.

I didn't think you guys stood much of a chance with Bollers but actually now wouldn't be shocked if you landed him. Closer to home, and he seems like a guy looking for a place where he would be The Man. Would be a huge get.
Quite the recruiting strategy by CMC.

What lol? Bad how? I already provide you idiot trolls wrong on this

LOL wtf are you talking about? The current average for the class is .84.
Last years was .8511.
2019 was .8533
2018 was .8411

We are literally ONE recruit away from being right where we have been the last 2 years. You hawk troll have got to be some of the dumbest people on this planet

Using average composite score is a good way to tell where the class will ultimately end up at. For instance with Iowa's Average composite score those classes typically finish between #20-#30 or so. With ISU average composite score those classes typically finish #50-#55 or so.

I mean other than Alabama & maybe Wisconsin, there aren’t exactly 4 star DE’s with blue blood offers lining up to play at the rest of his top schools (Iowa included).

Again, it’s really not.

I don't get how ISU fans can't see how this is a rough class so far for them? Last year CMC's first 13 commits included:

Bowman (Iowa offer)
Miller (Nebraska and lots of offers)
McDonald (Iowa, Minnesota, Purdue, Wisconsin)
Pauls (Iowa, KState, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ok state)
Dekkers (K State, Purdue)
Rengert (Rutgers, Pitt, Virginia, WVU)
Wilson (Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri)
Hutchinson (Nebraska, Illinois, Oklahoma)

That is what a real recruiting class looks like, and that class still finished #46. This years CMC class looks nothing close to this. Sure there is time yet, but CMC better close with a fury on the last 10 guys or so (not sure how big of class ISU will take).

I looked at your profile and I was shocked to see that you are 44 years old. I figured you would have been 16 - 19... Yikes.

Don't worry, we are going to land a couple of big recruits and our composite average will be similar to yours.

Wanna bet? To pull your composite average up to 88 from 84 with even 7 recruits would require a average rating of 95 for for those 7 guys. If you think ISU can pull their composite average up 4 points with "a couple recruits" I gotta wonder what math they are teaching in Ames.

So 7/13? (I don’t know a Bowman, and Aidan Bouman didn’t have any other P5 offers). Dig a little deeper.
