News broke on 247 that Iowa has cooled on Hanson, and ever since CyTwins has been claiming that Hanson is Iowa’s #1 target, just so that he can troll by claiming that Iowa State beat out Iowa for their #1 target when he commits to Iowa State. Sad and predictable.

You're right he only had offers from Wiscy, MSU, and ISU among others. If he was a Safety from CO with those offers he would be all world with great film, but as a defensive lineman he is just meh.

I'm not lying. Obviously Howe heard he was a DE too. I know Iowa State coaches are excited they thought it was an Iowa vs Iowa State battle for Hanson so we have to be in the lead now

ISU is taking one DT this year? I'm surprised ISU took Brown's commitment, Iowa decided not to even offer him a fall back spot if they missed on Pittman/Benny. I heard Brown was so mad that he didn't get an Iowa offer when he visited that he committed to ISU out of spite. That is what my "source" tells me.

We know Hanson is ours if we want him. I have also heard that after evaluation, we decided not to pursue Pittman. He landed at the one Power 5 school that would take him. To be fair maybe NW would’ve taken him too?
