Question for the board in this thread. There’s talk about a conference +1 for the schedule this year. Who does Iowa and ISU take as their +1? I think Iowa would be fine with keeping ISU. That gives them five home games. ISU already has five home games. Will they be willing to forgo a sixth home game to keep the rivalry game? I don’t think ISU gets anything financially from the Iowa game when it is away. It would be a bunch of money list if they stay at five home games.

Go for a 6th home game is my preference.

Just like I said 3 weeks ago. Iowa was after Pittman and Benny for the last DL spot.

They are pursing a couple DT right now, Pittman and Benny. Benny is a total longshot, I doubt we land him. Pittman has an ISU offer, not sure why CMC didn't at least throw an offer at a stud like Benny though.

There is some positive news for Iowa State out of the Max Llewelyn commitment - it sounds like Iowa doesn’t have room for Daine Hanson anymore, so Iowa State should be a top contender there. Would be Iowa State’s 2nd best commit in terms of P5 offers.

Heck if that is the case, congrats if you get Hanson, he is a good player that Iowa targeted early before they filled up at DE.

I don't know who the Badgers have to take Taylors place but I assume he will be pretty good. I don't remember the last time Wisconsin didn't have a great back.

Can't you read? Docherman had Lattimore as a comp, because he is slated for DT.

Hanson was a nice fallback if we didn't get our top DE targets for sure.

I think Pittman is good pickup for Iowa. I think if he stays at 280ish he can keep the burst he has. Could be a very good player.

2.) I said Iowa wouldn’t take another SDE, not that they wouldn’t take another DE.

You do whatever you have to do to cope with KF beating out CMC for yet another recruit, though.
