Iowa Football Recruiting

Ok so you aren't going to answer my original question about Iowa backing off on a legacy recruit being a red flag, that's ok.

I think Iowa stopped recruiting Bollers because he either wasn't a good fit OR they realized they were wasting their time. And to be clear ISU never wanted Twedt but he was a commit at one point?

Dude even an Iowa fan told you Iowa didn't pass on Bollers. They stopped recruiting when they knew they had no chance and I told you guys that a long time ago before he even cut his list down

Twedt was buying his own tickets to Historic Jack Trice Stadium when he was committed lol

I think Iowa needs one more scholarship to open to make room for Heflin now. From my understanding, Heflin will be a Hawk if Iowa can open up the room for him. Wonder if we will see someone like Henry Marchese or Max Cooper move on sometime this week as well.

Oh man you thought Max Cooper was the second coming under your old username lol

Never mind, I see that Iowa is at 84 scholarships now. Pretty likely Heflin ends up a Hawk sometime soon. Will be nice to add a PFF all-American alongside two studs in Nixon and Golston.

If I know anything it's the date of a bowl game is super important. Iowa played before Iowa State this year in their bowl game and it really made you guys mad
Just funny that you thought all bowl games were played in December. That's all.

What has CMC accomplished in his first four years at isu that gives you confidence he is better than anything at Iowa?
Yes, especially since BF is now gaining more control of that program. He's totally worthless. Nepotism will destroy TOE.

I get it now Twedt committed to ISU but they never wanted him.

Twins if you really have all the sources you claim you do you know the story with Bollers.

Funny that they think Minnesota could get Matt Campbell but the best they could get is a bad offensive coordinator lol

Iowa State wanted Twedt at one point. Iowa would hop all over the chance to get back involved with Bollers if they thought had a chance just like Iowa State would with Fidone

What does ISU offer Campbell that Minnesota can't? ISU got him out of the MAC, I get that. Lord help me if you say the BIG 12, I'll bust a nut laughing.

No I agree with you. Your "rival" is attractive enough to pull away a good HC from a P5 program but the best Iowa could do is hire a bad coordinator. Pretty telling IMO

Dude, Matt Campbell is not leaving Iowa State to go to Minnesota. Put it to rest. Matt Campbell turned down interest from the NFL as well as SEC and ACC jobs, he's not going to make a lateral move to go farther up north and try and recruit against Wisconsin and Iowa in the Big 10. Nor is he going to go to a fan base that cares far more about the professional team in their home town.

Not sure if Iowa would get involved with Bollers at this point. It is a shame since he is a local kid but sometimes egos get in the way.
