Iowa Football Recruiting

It’s a silly discussion for now. Hall and Goodson were both good.

Hall is really good and is probably Campbell’s next NFL back with his size, speed & power.

We’ll see if Goodson is that good, or if he’s just a really good college player like Wadley.
That's what cracks me up about this entire discussion. It straight up reminds me of how hawks swore up and down and tried to cherry pick every stat under the sun to "prove" Wadley was a million times better than Montgomery. Can anyone remind me who is in the NFL and the starting RB for a team and which player is (I believe) not even on a practice squad?

It's stupid because you play in the Big 10 West and get many games off. Whereas we have to battle week in and week out. If we played your schedule, we'd win 10 games too, or maybe 9 because we did get unlucky against you I guess. Fake holding call and other missed calls saved the day for you.

There has yet to be a clone fan be able to show an objective poll or power ranking that says isu would have been any different playing Iowa’s schedule last year. isu lost to Iowa and would have lost to Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, Minnesota and USC. yep isu is 7-6 with Iowa’s schedule.

Now if you can give me a link from an objective site that says isu would have won 9 or 10 games I will scream from the mountain tops isu is awesome with Iowa’s schedule. The kicker is it actually has to be an objective link not just you and other clone fans saying so.

Good luck,

Link?

Why does it trigger you so much that Goodson was better than Hall against good defenses?

if goodson was better then why did he get zero accolades? Because I mean, Iowa was *Clearly* the much better team with *clearly* the much better OL, you would have thought that a running back like Goodson who was *clearly* better than Hall would have gotten some kind of accolade

Iowa fans are morons, we all know that.

That was from Dec 8th, 2019. Iowa and Iowa State both played after that. Lol

Really? That guy must really be a genius then, because the lead-in talks about LSU winning the national championship and a handful of other teams’ bowl performances. Crazy how he is able to tell the future like that.

Iowa eased Goodson into his role because he was a true freshman, so he didn’t get as many carries. Pretty simple explanation. I also never claimed Goodson was *clearly* better than Hall, so you might want to read a bit more closely next time.

You mean like this one? Yep Iowa is better than 7-6 with isu’s schedule. In fact it is the same link clone fans love to talk about SOS with. The exact same link isu fans crow about SOS says Iowa goes 10-3 with isu’s schedule and isu goes 7-6 with Iowa’s. Let me guess this doesn’t count?

Yes, I agreed with Gonzo’s factual assertion. Because it was a fact.

It's dated Dec 8, 2019

So top 50 defenses Hall faced:

Oklahoma
Kansas State
Notre Dame
Iowa
Baylor (out with injury)
TCU

In those games he had 55 carries for 226 yards (4.1 ypc) and 10 catches for 90 yards (4.9 yards per touch)

Like I said I knew your stats were bogus

I know it’s dated December 8, 2019. That’s pretty obviously an error.

Your cutoff for good is in the top 50? Seems pretty generous.

Since you're good now with using total defense, did Iowa have a good total offense in 2019?

You do realize that Hall didn’t start/take significant snaps until the 6th game of the year for ISU, right?
