Reading page one, NCAA seems ready to hammer Ku ...

Well duh. You thought NCAA would back down? They will stick with what they said first time around.

Now that KU has received the response from the NCAA, the next step in the process will be to schedule a hearing before the NCAA's Committee on Infractions or through the Independent Accountability Resolutions Process, which was formed in 2018 as a way to handle the more complex cases that emerged from the federal investigation into corruption in college basketball recruiting.

The IARP is a five-person panel of decision-makers who have no direct ties to the NCAA. Decisions that come from the IARP are final and no appeals are granted. It is not yet known when a hearing in KU's case will take place or which body will conduct that hearing.

The allegations carry potential punishments that could keep the basketball program from the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1989 and result in a long-term suspension for Self, among other possible penalties ...

As the Journal-World has reported, KU previously has sent out a letter to area businesses reminding them of how they can properly interact with student-athletes. In that letter, it provides a definition of a booster, which uses athletic apparel companies as an example of what constitutes an booster.

They'll use this past year's NCAA tourney as the suspension like Self used the B12 tourney one year to suspend players.

And next basketball season may not happen so they'll probably work it in there through that.

That's only one part of it. In addition Bill will have to schedule extra practices for the team to punish him with extra work.

Also, during 3 of those extra practices he will NOT be allowed to wear his toupee. However there will be no filming or photography allowed.

Additionally all points scored during two shot foul dead ball situations will in the future only count half. So a two shot basket will only be worth one point. Three pointers will count as 1 1/2 points, rounded up since there are not 1/2 points on the score board.
 
Lots of things are changing right now. I wouldn't want to be in ole Bill and KU's position right now. The NCAA may do nothing and that would just mean they are setting up for a complete fall.
 
Past greatly informs the future. What about the NCAAs past would indicate they are going actually hold them accountable? They can release all the bs they want, blah blah blah. They haven’t done anything but blow smoke and wake me when they actually do something of note.

Does it really matter? UNC players admitted the classes were a fraud, everyone knows Addidias paid players at Arizona and KU. Nothing will happen and nothing new with the NCAA
