Iowa Football Recruiting

If anyone ever wants to see something interesting just block Twins and then it just looks like Iowa fans arguing with themselves.

What are the odds of the following?

Bollers to ISU
Fidone to Iowa

I have them both at 20%.

Fidone > Iowa is 0%

Too much working against us... proximity to family, lifelong fan, much cleaner path to playing time in Lincoln vs. I.C. Don't see it happening.

Let’s stop the bickering and enjoy some brisket!!

Thoughts on 247's top 25? Looks like only 1/3 of Twin's top three are on here, but some interesting pics to say the least. Pruitt at 21? Leach all the way at 25? Patterson is also ridiculously low IMO.

  1. Nick Saban

  2. Dabo Swinney

  3. Ed Orgeron

  4. Kirby Smart

  5. Lincoln Riley

  6. James Franklin

  7. Ryan Day

  8. Dan Mullen

  9. Jimbo Fisher

  10. Brian Kelly

  11. Paul Chryst

  12. Mario Cristobal

  13. Gus Malzahn

  14. Mike Gundy

  15. Mark Stoops

  16. P. J. Fleck

  17. Scott Satterfield

  18. Jim Harbaugh

  19. Kirk Ferentz

  20. David Shaw

  21. Jeremy Pruitt

  22. Pat Fitzgerald

  23. Gary Patterson

  24. Kyle Whittingham

  25. Mike Leach
I have a problem with it because it seems unfair to have Fleck so high when hes been at Minnesota for what, two years? That's not sustained success which I personally take as something that means more. Thats why I would put Patterson higher, Ferentz higher. Dan Mullen and Ryan Day ranked way to high IMO

I agree with pretty much everything. In another post I mentioned I'd have to see a follow up season for both Fleck and Stoops before I entertain the idea of them as high as they were. Mark already came down from a really good 2018 season to a pretty good 2019. 2020, if played, will tell much more about them.

As far as Day is concerned, how hard is it to show up with a 4-5* loaded roster Meyers put together and run almost the same stuff to be successful? That goes for most bluebloods that aren't having to do a full rebuild.

It's been discussed many times on here and even linked that they said they were full at RB but still wanted him on defense. Are you dense?
I can't see who, but I would bet every cent to my name that you have to be replying to LegendHawk. That guy was/is the dumbest poster on this site. He got so made when I LINKED an article that explained the TE they got wanted to play defense and that is why he didn't go to ISU but yet still had us in the final two. He just couldn't accept. Was really pathetic of him, but also hilarious to see his meltdown. I hope he responds to this. I won't see it. But i'm sure it will be stupid as ever

He thinks Waggoner was a 4 star recruit everybody wanted. Seriously

Impressive. Did you do just a flat or was that a full packer?

Pellet smoker and 15 lb full packer that I separated the flat and point. Took right at 10 hours. I covered at around 145 and let it go to 195 let them rest for a couple of hours. I was happy that my pellet usage was low. Then I started at 150 and went to 180 and the when I wrapped I took it to 240. The point actually seemed better than the flat. Slices of both where you could pull them apart with your fingers! Probably the best thing was the drippings/juice I saved after I wrapped them. Probably have around 2 cups of liquid gold to use for gravy.
