NBA: tinsley

Indiana is keeping him at home until they trade him. They also refuse to buy him out so basically he's doing nothing but chillin at home, working out, and waiting. The Pacers have handled this situation terribly IMO.

Look at it this way...he is sitting home not making his knees swell...and earning over $6 million dollars for what would get you and me fired from our jobs!!!!

The Pacer's desperately want out from underneath Tinsley's contract as they can't stand him and the cancer he has become to the team. Nobody in the NBA is going to give up much for him because nobody wants him or his contract. Probably will only have a team take a flyer on him as a free agent signing, so the Pacers are probably stuck with him. Too bad that one of our favorite Clones has had his NBA career go the way it has, but Jamaal brought most of it on himself.

Unfortunately, I agree with most of this post. The guy can't seem to stay away from late night altercations at bars in Indy for goodness sake. I wonder what would be happening if he played in a place like Miami, LA or NY?

This could be a career ender for JT. Remember how big he came back for his senior season after the elite 8 year? Hopefully he is actually working out at this point and not just eating Cheetos.

They'll trade him. He's under contract though '10/'11, three more years including this year, and he is owed 6.75 this year, 7.2 next year, and 7.5 the year after. You don't pay a guy 21.5 million to sit and prove a point.

That's why they've done a terrible job with this.

He was nearly traded to Denver a month ago. How things can change.

This situation on top of Stephon Marbury's in NY is a bit of a black eye for the NBA.

One of the altercations took place outside a 5 Star Hotel because people were trying to car jack his car. Not sure if that's his fault at all.

Anyways, I think the reason nobody wants him is because he can't play a whole season, period. Indiana would love him if he could finish out a season, so would almost every other team. Who wouldn't want a PG that can give you 10 dimes and 15 points per game.

I have been a Pacers fan pre-JT and I am so mad at the organization for keeping Tinsley around! Denver was looking at him untill the got the trade done with Detroit...I just want the Pacers to trade him because he still has some bball left in him...I hope he has the partying out of him though! :notworthy:

most likely senerio is that someones (top teams) starting PG will get hurt for an extended period of time and will be forced to make a deal .... i dont wana say this is the only way i see him getting traded because they are paying him alot of dough to just sit around so he'll be on the move eventually ...
