I was talking to some guys that are close to Iowa high school football this past weekend and everyone knows he getting destroyed on the recruiting trail right now and the 2022 is going to be bleak too. Lack of success against Iowa and lack of putting players in the NFL is really hurting MC.

That is not a good sign. Look at any good Iowa teams in the past and they absolutely had good Iowa players on those squads. Sure you can't live off Iowa players alone, but getting a Wirfs, Linderbaum, Bowie, Liddel, Brecht, etc. make your team better.

Only on this site could you get a "fair and balanced" picture. The real story here is CMC only wanted 1 of the 11 kids with ISU offers that Iowa signed, and Iowa was secretly recruiting all 12 ISU commits.
