Iowa Football Recruiting

Hall was a AP All American?

Kolar is very good, he isn't explosive like a Hock/Kittle/Fant, but a solid possession guys. He certainly isn't better than an explosive WR like ISM though. Heck the Holiday bowl announcers were saying ISM was the most explosive WR on the field and that included NFL Draft pick Pittman.

Hall was a freshman All American. Goodson was a freshman nothing

ISM was an HM All Conference Big Ten West WR. You are so bad at this

ISU had 3 WR last year basically in Jones, Milton and Pettway. Until someone steps up and produces for ISU, Iowa has guys that have shown they can produce.
Nope all that counts is fantasy football stats. Wait for it, wait for it.....

Shaw came on pretty strong at the end of the season. I think he had 5 TDs the last 6 games or something close to that. We have recruited that position very well lately

Still half of the total TD’s ISM had. Oh and he had 3 TD’s in one game, not bad.

Ragaini is good. Top 20? yes. 8? no.

Heck last years would have looked like this (not including QB's). We are talking bout what actually happened. Yet all of a sudden with Jones and Pettway gone, Ragaini isn't going to be top 10 again? LOL

1A/B Goodson and Hall (both 4.8 YPC)
2 Jones 76 catches 877 yards
3 Ihmir Smith-Marsette (44 catches 722 yards, multiple return TD's)
4 Kolar (51 catches 697 yards)
5 Milton (35 catches 722 yards)
6 Pettway (55 catches for 676)
7 Smith (37 catches 439 yards)
8 Tracy (36 catches 589 yards)
9 Ragaini (46 catches 439 yards)
10 LaPorta (15 catches 188 yards)
11 Shaw (15 catches 231 yards)
12 Allen (17 catches 167 yards)

I agree that SOS is meaningless. Anyone blaming all that ills their program on SOS is an moron. I have never understood using SOS as the be all end all crutch for why a team doesn’t win. You sure don’t see that from Alabama or Ohio State fans but isu fans wear it like a massive badge of honor.

You really are a couple sandwiches short of a picnic today!! Tell that to your hawk troll disciple yeahbuddy or whatever his troll name is now and go back on this thread and check the post from trolls bringing up the SOS.

Hall got more carries in a less crowded backfield. Goodson averaged the same YPC, just didn't get the ball as much or played as easy of defenses.

Iowa had a crowded backfield? Lol

Goodson isn't a threat in the passing game. You conveniently leave that out

I'm not sure how you argue Goodson over hall?? Breece is a special type of back.

You do the same with CyTwins and other clone fans who use SOS for every excuse as to why isu doesn’t win more than 7-8 games a year.

Apples and Oranges. ISU was constantly passing because they were behind in games. Iowa passed the ball much less than ISU and had to play real defenses. Heck Iowa playing a cupcake like Nebraska is against a better defense than 1/2 the Big12 (Better than WVU, OSU, Texas, Kansas and Texas Tech).

Wait till you see Joe "Tha Baby" Scates.

Breece Hall is very clearly the best RB between the two schools. He's an incredibly gifted kid that is further along going into his sophomore season than Montgomery was.
