I think ISU will win more games this year, they have a top 10 draft pick at QB, and Twins has predicted 9+ wins and a championship game appearance. I don't think there is any way Iowa get to 9 wins with the SOS they have (top 10 according to multiple publications). If schedules were flipped, Iowa would easily win more games.

What is wrong with the list? I've included last years stats. Maybe flip Milton and Kolar? I could also see Shaw bumping up a few spots, as someone will get Jones targets

Hall is better than Goodson. Kolar is better than ISM. There's literally no way you could argue against that Hall and Kolar were All Americans last year

Kolar is very good, he isn't explosive like a Hock/Kittle/Fant, but a solid possession guys. He certainly isn't better than an explosive WR like ISM though. Heck the Holiday bowl announcers were saying ISM was the most explosive WR on the field and that included NFL Draft pick Pittman.
I agree that SOS is meaningless. Anyone blaming all that ills their program on SOS is an moron. I have never understood using SOS as the be all end all crutch for why a team doesn’t win. You sure don’t see that from Alabama or Ohio State fans but isu fans wear it like a massive badge of honor.
