I saw the other day that Iowa was planning on starting up some football activities on June 1st, but I have not seen anything about ISU. May have just missed it.
Does ISU have a plan on starting up Football practice?

Just saw on Twitter that Purdy is on his way back to Ames.
Considering both Iowa State and Iowa are run by The Board of Regents. I guarantee it's identical plans
I believe the Big10 then stepped in and said the call was theirs.
I would think the Big12 based on input from university presidents will decide when ISU can start.
The ¨PROCESS¨ has been written for years. Updated annually. This virus crap was planned for on a napkin the first day everything closed up.
I’ve seen notes that the Big XII cleared all sports to resume practice June 1. Didn’t look any closer than the headline. Is that what you’re asking? Hope that helps.

I like JP's response - he's right that the data is moving so fast you have to remain flexible. What we thought we knew a day, week or months ago and try to plan for is next to impossible and I think we need to keep that in mind when some plans end up turning out wrong - folks trying their best but the info keeps changing. Sounds like JP intends to play football but may be open to anything including no fans.
If I had to place a bet right now I'd guess it is "football with a late start and no fans or a very limited number of fans" but I wouldn't bet my mortgage on any of the possible options other than there will be schools that cancel at least the non-con part of their schedule and that football will be played even if they have to move it to the spring.

Heard this morning on Dan Patrick that one plan that is gaining traction is practices is sports resuming in mid June early July. Ten game schedule with one regional non conference game so you wouldn't have to fly ( I am guessing that means Iowa-Iowa State stays). Everything is so fluid though, they could start the games and then be forced to shut down. It seems like it's going to be a very different and crazy fluid year.
Its still way too early to rule out any possibility. This story is evolving daily. It's hard to imagine where we'll be in a month and that's still only early June. No meaningful decisions in regards to football have to be made for 2 more months.
Seeing what happens with theaters and concert venues in July and August is an indicator.
Also hard to believe mlb wont have given sometjing to learn from.
