Completely agree with this. His technique is raw but very explosive athletically for his size. ISU is probably lucky camp circuits look to basically be cancelled this year on this guy.
As you should. I think ISU is getting some good under the radar kids right now. It is a weird year and I am honestly surprised that ISU is not pulling instate kids. I just do not get it.
I don't know much about the ISU commits, but for Iowa guys here is my order of excitement:
Davidkov - When Iowa gets 4* OL they rarely disappoint, and typically become NFL guys
Colby - See above
Liddell - Tough dude, wrestling background, gonna be tough on the interior of the DL
Bowie - Might grow into an interior guy, but if not should be a very good strong side DE.
I'm pretty excited for a lot of the recruits, but these 4 even more so.
It is a lot to ask of recruits to be ready to play an actual role (more than just the 4 games) on either side of the line in year 1.
He fits exactly what Iowa likes to do at safety for sure. They love bringing in playmakers and turning them into safeties. Hyde, Hooker, Stone, all guys that in high school were explosive offensive players.
Absolutely a RS guy. Like I said he has a lot of work to do on his technique. I could see him following the Will McDonald career path.
I’m looking forward to seeing what Bruce can bring to the table. I also want to see what Stephens can do with Doyle. The dude is already a freaking monster in the weight room and give him time with Doyle and he’ll probably break some weight room records
Okay, I can actually relate to all of this.It kills time while waiting for pointless zoom meetings for work. I don't have to put on pants to do it. And it's far more entertaining than screaming at my kids to get off their phones and clean their rooms.
