Not sure a career saver but yes beating out Alabama for one of the best quarterbacks in the country is pretty significant

I think he is saying this season. I think Silas can contribute and is a very underrated recruit. I really like his ability to cut and change direction. Looks like Sproles in his highlights. Will be a very good fit in the ISU offensive scheme.

I would actually argue Iowa State had an 11 win QB with a Big Ten West schedule

In reality isu would have been 4th in the Big Ten West. Good thing they are in the Big12 where they tied for 3rd with a 5-4 record.
