Iowa Football Recruiting

Against those defenses? might want to look at the comparison of defenses between the 2 schedules and get back to us.
Sure defensive numbers are going to look worse when you play against real offenses. I'm sure our defense statistics would've been off the charts if we got to play NW, Purdue, and Illinois. We don't get that luxury. We have to play teams with Big Boy offenses.

So you'd rather have a stronger arm even if it's a way worse arm? That's odd
So Iowa would've been a National title contender "with" Purdy and ISU was 7-6 with him. Wow. Pretty damning perception of the rest of your team. Campbell hit a home run with Purdy. Without him, he might be on the hot seat already.

Nice try Troll. Purdy probably would've been 1st team all conference playing against that pathetic conference schedule and you know it.

Purdy is a good QB, he just needs to take that next step of coming through at the critical moments.

I didn't realize how bad Big 12 qb's have been when it comes to the NFL. Mahomes was the first ever Big 12 (1996) qb to win a playoff game in the NFL. They've had guys put up video game stats over the years, but for some reason that doesn't translate to the NFL. I wonder why that is.

Yeah. I mean they only had the last 2 number 1 picks and 2 of the 4 QBs in the conference title games. Big 12 QBs are just not working in the NFL.
