Iowa Football Recruiting

LOLOLOLOLOLOL! Sorry you have to play the best team in your league finally. What's it been, three years now?

Considering CMC is 4-11 in the last 2 years vs bowl eligible team, you are lucky CMC has faced 11 cupcakes to feast upon over the last 2 years.

You are correct.

Better hold onto that memory tight cause i would about guarantee that it will be the ONLY time Iowa every beats OSU like that ever again and you will need some happy thoughts after they murder you this year to make up for that embarrassing loss in 2017. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to put up 63

Minnesota will unfortunately get to 10 wins again this year. Fleck is going to be a problem in Minneapolis, hopefully he can have another big year and move his cult of personality to the SEC.
I’ll guess 8-4 or 7-5 for Fleckesota.

Insanely easy schedule, but they’ll come back down to earth.

Jesus. Not this stupid cupcake talk. Give it up. You're wrong. "Cupcake" TCU had more first round drafts than iowa so by your rules they must be better. Congrats

Iowa has put together a heck of a recruiting class thus far. Assuming they keep all the recruits they currently have (I personally don’t think they do. I think they’ll lose 2-3 of their high ranked guys when this is all over and they can finally go visit the big boys they are interested in, but great move by them to take the committable offer now as a safe backup) who of the commits makes a big impact on the field as true freshmen?

Exactly what I told him. But he doesn't want to admit that he is wrong.
I didn't realize how bad Big 12 qb's have been when it comes to the NFL. Mahomes was the first ever Big 12 (1996) qb to win a playoff game in the NFL. They've had guys put up video game stats over the years, but for some reason that doesn't translate to the NFL. I wonder why that is.

No way that can be true? That is really hard to believe.

Hard to tell which guys we're talking about since you're keeping it really vague by not saying specifically who is going to bolt, but I'd have to say not many of them make a huge impact their freshman season. Unless somehow they get Fidone (pretty certain we don't), I see most of these guys being gunners on special teams or 4 game RS's. Maybe a couple get pushed into early service with an injury or two, but that's a crap shoot. Nice to have some decent depth in some of these positions.

TCU was horrible last year, it is what it is. Their 4 wins against D1 teams that were a combined 19-30. Keep in mind that counts Texas 8-5 record. That is horrible.

Same questions to you on ISU.
