Iowa Football Recruiting

Think how many more wins you guys had with Eno over the last 3 years. 5 minimum?

Eno didn’t fit the Iowa culture. Iowa dodged a bullet on that one. I can see why you don’t understand what role culture plays in a successful football program.

So Iowa wins the West one time with him and doesn't have Sargent on the roster and gets Hall or Brock instead? Seems like a pretty huge deal

Iowa had better options at RB than Brock and Foster didn't want him in his unit but we've already belabored that. No need to rehash.

But they didn't have a better option than Hall. Either way if you get Eno you don't have to take Sargent and you don't have to choose

I'll take Goodson over Hall. In any event it likely matters little. Been down that road with DJK and would prefer not to intentionally repeat it with Eno.

Iowa had back to back final ranked seasons because of team cohesion. I've seen too many teams blow up. Randy Moss had a ridiculous amount of TDs with Brady and a good coach in Belichik elected to move him out.

I don't think many Iowa fans are complaining about 3 final top 25 seasons in the last 5 years. ISU may get one again eventually.

Imagine saying you'd take a smaller, slower running back who wasn't even HM All Conference over a bigger, faster All American. Lol oh Benji

Hall faced like 2 top 50 ranked scoring defenses (Kansas State and ND) in games he had at least 10 carries and he was held to 3 yards per carry and around 50 yards.

He's a solid back but when you play the equivalent of Nebraska's defense weekly you're bound to have a few decent games.
