Kirk is 100x better at finding and developing kids with 0 P5 offers than CMC. That doesn't mean you want 1/2 your class to have no other P5 offers.

Iowa actually wanted Hall and Brock. Goodson was a fallback

So what will OSU and Michigan be able to offer that they can’t offer today? I get it if an Ohio kid gave a verbal to Iowa and OSU came in at the last minute and tried to get a kid to flip. Same if Davidkov was from Michigan. That isn’t what is happening. Davidkov was being actively recruited by OSU and Michigan and he picked Iowa anyway.

I guess Wirfs was a great example for the kid.

I would agree with the second part. The first part you're comparing two coaches at completely different stages in their career. Campbell has been the head coach at Iowa State for a quarter of the time Ferentz has been at Iowa.

Wirfs, Scherff, Blythe, Daniels, Bulaga, Rieff, and Yanda have got to help. Great track record.

A lot. No different than how Iowa State basketball has gotten some recruits. No doubt these guys want to help out the Iowa program to some degree, but they are thinking of their future as well.
