Iowa Football Recruiting

Didn't they go 0-9? How is that even possible at a small school with a P5 kid?

It's not. He's not a P5 kid.

Cole Pedersen was in a similar situation. He rushed for over 150 a game as a quarterback and threw for about 100 yards, too. And returned kicks and played amazing defense. They went 5-5.

You guys wold love the discussion going on over in this thread regarding players and W/L:

Thanks for the info

Good to see both programs really rolling with with commitments right now.

Iowa getting commitments from several highly sought after high 3 star or 4 star recruits.

Iowa State getting commitments from recruits no one wants and who aren't even ranked by 247.

Both programs really excelling at getting the caliber of player to match the caliber of their respective programs.

Betcha Texas A&M will want Wright come December.

Heard their offers weren't committable

I know you're just trying to be funny, but it was a pretty class move by DD to let Michigan and Ohio St. down earlier than he originally had planned so they wouldn't continue wasting time on him. High-character kid.

Davidkov looked harder at both Michigan and Ohio State but in the end kept coming back to Iowa.

"I started to look harder at both Michigan and Ohio State and they also have great coaches and great programs. I just felt that Iowa was my school for the last 5 months or so and I didn't want to keep wasting their time. I appreciated those schools and those coaches recruiting me. I called up the coaches at both schools and let them know about my decision to Iowa. Those ended up being very hard calls to make because I built up good relationships with those coaches, but I felt I owed them that phone call to them."

Isn't it weird that every recruit Iowa misses out on they didn't have a committable offer? I was more familiar than most with the Brock situation and Iowa wanted him badly all the way through his recruitment

Why do you think that CMC's recruiting has regressed so much in the 2021 class?
