Iowa Football Recruiting

Nebby, Purdue and Illinois too hard for you?

Crazy that when the Big12 lost Nebraska, they lost one of the better defenses in the league. They were better defensively than than 1/2 the Big12: WVU, OSU, Texas, Kansas and Texas Tech.

Are you really gonna act like Texas does not pump out solid defenses most years.

Also, either admit that you made your statement up or convince me that your staff "moved off" a top 200 4 star RB recruit while they were still in play...

Give it up man, everyone knows what happened, it was in several news accounts. Brocks mom was pissed off and tweeted out some nasty stuff. I get it, they were upset he wanted to be a Hawk and the offer was no longer valid as another RB took the spot.

I wish Iowa played easy defenses like in the big12.
Iowa got to play offenses that were just as bad as some of the defenses Iowa State played. Last year, Rutgers threw for 7 touchdowns and 15 interceptions total. THE ENTIRE YEAR. Want to know who did worse? Northwestern threw for 6 touchdowns and 15 interceptions total.

Yes, there are some terrible defenses in the Big 12 but good God those are straight up JV High School football passing attacks.
