I honestly don't remember a year with so many D1 level recruits in Iowa. Pretty amazing.

I don't think there has been a year. I'm really excited to watch some HS games (knock on wood).
Fidone isn't going to Iowa State or Iowa
Bollers isn't going to Iowa. Toss-up if he's going to go to Iowa State. Hopefully one of the two stays in state
I'm sure the Hawks feel pretty good about possibly pulling 7 out of the top 10 but 8 (Fidone) would be icing on the cake. Would def like to see you keep Bollers away from Wisc. or Nebby regardless.
I really don't have a say but that would be my preference. My guess is that him and Fidone will both end up in the BIG 10 tho.
Cal would be even better. Then we wouldn't have to listen to you brag about how Campbell landed 1 of the top ten recruits in Iowa.

just in case you've missed.....Ferentz owns Campbell so no worries there. It's been a struggle with Wisc tho. We have a lot of "rivals". You have us, KSU, and UNI.

Kansas State for us and Minnesota and Wisconsin for you guys aren't on the same level. Hell you guys will cheer for those two teams in bowl games and the NCAA Tournament. You'd never cheer for us

I'm not going to even go any further. CMC has a massive amount of misses on guys that had 0 P5 offers. 3 hits, and 15 misses (in 2 classes alone). Heck Kirk Ferentz has made a career finding and developing kids with 0 other P5 offers, but you still have way more misses than hits with these guys.
My whole point this entire time is you just can't rely on too many of these kinds of recruits. CMC's actual strength is he has gotta players to Ames that actually have offers from other P5 schools. That is who CMC is winning with, the Brock Purdy's of the world, not the Zeb Noland's who have no other P5 interest in them.
You've obviously never attended a Minnesota vs Iowa game. They chant "who hates Iowa? We hate Iowa!" even when they aren't playing Iowa. That's the damned truth. You wish somebody hated you that much! LOL
