I don’t think it is a matter of signing 4 better pieces, but rather scaring off someone we would rather have at that position. I don’t know anything - just speculating

Flowere transfer always seemed off and syncs with ISU being list as one of his schools even though the staff wasn't recruiting him. A big part of the waiver getting passed is the original school working with the NCAA to allow the waiver to pass.
WMU gave his schollarship away and then not helping faciliate his waiver seems overly punitive. The AD at WMU may have their side and valid reaon as to why but doesn't look good as all parties moved on.

All parties moved on, but this is absolutely going to harm future recruiting. The reason to help kids transfer is not just to help the kids, but to help your schools image for future recruiting.
