I realize that. He was listing the last 2 seasons records. They were 6-7 2 years ago you were 7-6 last year. The difference was that you had a better QB.
So just to clarify the last two years were 15-11 vs a real schedule and Purdue is 10-15 with a Big Ten West schedule?
LOL, Iowa played 4 top 20 teams in conference play. ISU played 2 top 20 teams in conference play. 7 games vs conference cupcakes and ISU couldn't even get to 8 wins.
You think he is going to choose Iowa over blue bloods like LSU, Michigan, Notre Damn, or Alabama?
ISU is 4-11 vs bowl eligible teams over the last two years.
Iowa is 9-7 vs bowl eligible teams over the last two year.
Iowa has played more bowl eligible teams. This fantasy that ISU doesn't play as many cupcakes is just that, a fantasy.
Iowa had a tougher SOS in a 5 out of 7 reputable SOS metrics. Nice try, you struggle consistently on this one.
Iowa hasn't won a national title. Just stop. Ignoring the fact that it was in 1958, LSU's name is beside Iowa. That means they didn't out right win one. So what little of thread you were holding on to before is just sad

Pretty easy to get bowl eligible in the Big Ten West. There's a reason we had one of the toughest schedules in the entire country last year and you guys played a cupcake conference season

Swing and a miss again. Over the last 2 years, the Big12 has had 30% of it's teams ranked in the top 25 at the end of the year. The Big10 West has had 36% of it's teams ranked in the top 25 the last 2 years. Much tougher to get bowl eligible in the Big10 West when you are facing top 25 teams 36% of the time vs 30% of the time in the Big12.
How is Sagarin any different than any other metric? There are plenty of SOS metrics out there, I didn't make them up.
