Kolar had the best season last year and is still the most proven TE in the state.

So our TE room was better last year and will be again this year. Not sure why that is hard to admit
Because Iowa has a long track record of developing TEs at a high rate. One of the guys on the roster could blow up this season and be our next Hockenson.
But what I said is still true. There is no way you'll have a better TE room than Kolar, Allen and Soehner
Really? ISU was a few close losses from being exactly that. It was in the margins.
We literally return an All American, second team All Conference and HM All Conference to the room. It will be much better than yours and it's not even close. Hell it would be with just Kolar
We don't play in the Big Ten West. I'm not sure why you aren't giving our TE room credit. Do you even have a TE on your roster that's caught a touchdown?
Everybody with a pulse scores tds in the Big12. Defense is optional. Can't concede anything for next season at this point. If they play and Purdy gets hurt production goes way down.
CyTwins... don't forget Skylar Loving-Black and Easton Dean.
The coaches are really high on Loving-Black, and CMC said Dean has the potential to be the best TE ever at ISU in his opinion. The TE room is absolutely STACKED. Easily the most loaded position group on the ISU team this season. RB would be pretty close though.
Kolar is good but he's nowhere near Fant or Hockenson. I give Purdy a large amount of credit for the success of our TEs as he's the tide that lifts all boats. If Fant and Hockenson played for ISU they both might have 1000 yard seasons.
Yeah Iowa wanted Dean badly. Even offered him after he committed here. I think it's safe to say we have 4 TE on our roster better than their best. 3 for sure
Purdy is an absolute stud I'll give you that. By far the best QB the state has seen since Seneca and Banks
