Remember not one Iowa fan on here knowing where the "championship" trophy was located?
Took a few days and google for an answer.
It has to do with a coach having to follow a legend. I mean everyone is acting like Ferentz was guaranteed to have great results because he followed Fry. Most coaches that follow a legend end up like Prohm, and ruin the work the legend did. Ferentz didn't do that, he continues Fry's success even now 20+ years later.
Most of your troll attempts are either funny or sad, so I'm guess that is what was funny.

I think it is harder to continue the success of a legend for 20+ years, after taking over for a legend.

Duh, every football coach ISU hires walks into a tough job. Whoever follows CMC is going to walk into a tough job.
That's not true at all. They had some bad bounces that could have went the other way. They proved that they were not a good enough team to overcome those bounces. That said, they also proved that they could play with OU. It would have taken some Baylor type luck to win the conference and ISU had the complete opposite.
Could it be because Hawks just had 2 taken in the 1st round? Kolar will play on Sunday's but Kittle, Fant,or Hockenson he is not.
