I came in looking for a good deal on some memorabilia, but that collection might be priceless! Real cool stuff!
Yes, only way it could be better is if the bugle helmet was on fire, other than that, perfect!
Please give me a little history on the mini in the second row, fourth from the left that has the number 12 on the side. I've followed our helmets for a long time too, but don't remember this one.
That is actually a "32" (Jeff Woody) that was worn as the Jack Truce era throwback that was worn against Iowa in 2013.
Nope, not me. That is cool as well. Those are the smaller helmets, about 2 inches tall. Mine are the minis, about 6 inches tall or so.
That is a great question! A quick count would reveal that I purchased 16 "as is" from somewhere that already had them made. 8 were only modified by changing a mask color or style. 10 of them I purchased all the parts, decals, masks and put together. Finally, 4 were made by Tidewater Collectables (a wonderful guy on eBay) after I begged him, sent pictures, and consulted on things. A few others are his too, but he already had those made up or made them later without bugging him!
