A grocery store worker right now is a more essential job than an actor.
Makes sense. Has no chance of pulling numbers at a theater anytime soon, and this isn’t the kind of movie you release immediately to streaming platforms.

It looks like there may be a volleyball scene and a karaoke scene. I assume there will be a fly-by where Tom Cruise spills coffee on himself.
This looks really really good. I have to admit. I was a huge skeptic about rehashing Top Gun. It looks like they have did a good job. Hopefully they captured the cheezyness of the first one also.

They better had been smart enough to go that route.
There is a potential chance I am in the background of a few shots on Coronado as well as an extra in a crowd shot scene near downtown San Diego along the water.
They were filming there in early 2019 while I was there for work. I tried wearing the same shirt every time to spot me. Look for a chubby guy with shaggy hair in a red Hawaiian shirt.
The only issue is I haven’t even seen the scenes in any of the trailers and hopefully they didn’t cut them
